I would compare Primary with roots that are growing, growing into the land, roots which someday will be able to sustain a large tree.
Each of these roots would be what we teach our students: autonomy, respect for others and the environment, knowledge…
These roots, firm in the ground, will not allow the tree to fall, but allow the tree to grow sturdy and strong.
All this together with the excitement of children to be better each day, and with the magic of learning with curiosity about the unknown, with the desire to transform the world …
For me, it is an honor to think that “the little people” before us every day who listen to us with some admiration, will someday make a better and fairer world.
